		<description>Oh, I give them a huge amount of credit for their dedication, as well as general shrewdness. By arresting the deterioration of the terminal, and getting it back into active use for big events (classic car show, model train show, Oktoberfest, etc.) they have been able to keep it in the public eye as a valuable place rather than just a rotting eyesore. Pretty much all of the really great things in this city (and probably in most cities) have come from committed citizens like these folks working at a small scale, priming the pump for larger investments.</description>

		<description>You have to give these volunteers some credit for their staying power on a project like this. And I really hope that the station is restored. Yes, that is a bad part of town but it can't stay that way forever. Yes, it's a ton of money - but urban renewal always has to start with a budget. There are rewards. As a UB grad ('92), this post was of great interest to me. Thanks for sharing it.</description>
